Bungie unveiled today that the first four Xbox Live downloadable maps from the upcoming multiplayer expansion pack will be available on April 25. Two of those four maps will be available for free (titled Containment and Warlock), while the two remaining maps (Turf and Sanctuary) can be purchased for $5.99. An additional five maps will be released through Xbox Live on June 28 for $11.99. A DVD version will also be released on June 28 for $19.99.

The Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack is a collection of nine multiplayer maps, as well as non-playable video content (a cinematic and a mini-documentary). Delivered on a standard Xbox DVD disc, the multiplayer content can be used by gamers on Xbox Live as well as those who play multiplayer via System Link or via Split-screen (on one Xbox).
