Spyware Removal Paradise

I spent the better part of the day yesterday trying to fix my laptop. I had a bunch of processes running that I didn’t recognize. I knew that the processes along with the daily popups could mean only one thing – spyware. I tried my usual tools for removal – the new Microsoft AntiSpyware, Spybot S&D, and Ad-Aware, but none of them found anything. At that point I knew this was not going to be an easy one to fix. When I tried looking up the processes on Google, the only thing that came up was a vague reference to something called Peper. This wasn’t a spyware program I was familiar with. Attempts to manually remove the spyware program were unsuccessful because the processes kept coming back after a reboot. I obviously wasn’t finding the entire program, so I did a little more research. What I stumbled across is one of the best organized spyware sites that I have seen.

The site contains links to numerous articles on spyware, as well as some of the more popular spyware detection programs. Links to all of these detection and removal tools are conveniently located in one place. Best of all, there is a removal tool for Peper that allowed me to fix my problem in no time. The site hasn’t been updated in several months, but all the links still appear to be valid. I would suggest adding this site as another useful tool in the fight against spyware.
