wTicker v0.3.09 Beta
wTicker is an advanced feed aggregator that comes loaded with many unique features. Besides RSS Feeds, it also supports gathering information from Usenet, e-mail, or even local eventlogs.
While loaded with features, this is most certainly a software for more advanced users - the documentation is sparse, and we found it very difficult to figure out the features and concept of the program, which involve custom SQL queries and dozens of configuration options.
Using the program as a basic RSS feed reader is fairly straightforward, though, and includes an optional desktop ticker as well as keyword alerts, article tags, and integrated browser display. Making use of the more advanced features will require some time and patience.
