In yet another effort to make a dent in the enterprise-level remote desktop market (soon to be overwhelmed by the collaboration between Citrix and Microsoft), Tarantella has decided to give away single-user licenses for its Secure Global Desktop Enterprise Edition 4. This software is currently available for RedHat, Fedora, SuSE, and Solaris servers. On the client side, all you need is Java and a browser.
Those interested will need to fill out an online form before receiving a license and download link in their e-mail. Tarantella has also provided an installation guide and an online demonstration (no password is needed).
Tarantella would like to invite you to enjoy the benefits of a free 1-user license for Secure Global Desktop Enterprise Edition 4. Simply follow the link below to the download form, fill in your information, and you will receive a link to download the software and your license code immediately via e-mail. We trust that you will find many interesting and unique ways to use your free 1-user license of Enterprise Edition. To get you started, we’ve provided a document written by a Tarantella Systems Engineer as an example, outlining the use of Enterprise Edition in his home network… [Tarantella]
