Toshiba Corporation researchers have created a .85-inch hard drive, smaller than some coins. The capacity is a whopping 2 to 3 gigabytes, according to reports coming out of Japan. The drive should become available in 2005. See the picture of the drive next to a 500 Yen coin (about the size of a quarter). [Via Mark Rider]
